PLACES TO VISIT IN ANKARA

    Hi Everyone!

   I am Zeynep as a fresh blog writer, in my first writing I wanted to talk about places to visit in Ankara.I came to Ankara 3 weeks ago for my university ,METU, and I'd like to show places for others who just came here like me: 

 1) SWAN PARK

  This famous park is in Tunalı Hilmi Street, takes their name from the swans in the middle of the park. It made in 1958 and became popular in 1970s. This park is also perfect for birdwatchers. It is peaceful habitat for various bird species; with its central location, natural beauty and calm atmosphere, Swan Park is definitely one of the places should be seen in Ankara.



 

 





2) ANITKABIR

  Anıtkabir is a mauseloum located in Ankara. It is built for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's memorial who is the founder of Republic of Türkiye. The construction of Anıtkabir began in 1944 and completed in 1953. Anıtkabir is as symbol which gathers all Turkish citizens. People show their love and respect to Atatürk and our country by visiting Anıtkabir.




 3) KIZILAY SQUARE

 Kızılay Square is the most central square in Ankara. You can find anything in any category here. It is also the central point of subway and bus stops. If you want to visit somewhere lively, you should definitely come here.


 4) ANKARA CASTLE

  Ankara Castle is a historical castle that we don't know which year it was built, but it is known that The Castle was here in 5th century BC. Now, with its historical atmosphere The Castle hosts various festivals every year.
